The crew consists of inviduals who has fought bravely to earn a place in the pirate community. If a person works for the pirates and is considered to have a role in the piracy it does not mean he is listed here. Only the frontfigures which has sworn and proven their loyalty to the idealogy which the brotherhood carries out are listed here. Some pirates, often the older ones has recieved one or serveral distinctions. In most cases with the distinction a title (in many cases often referred as rank) has been received, which allows the pirates to use their special talents more frequently (eg. if a pirate proves to be good in commanding in battle he may recieve the title as 'the gunner' to take a more significant role in the battle field).
